  6. Tempestas: So true!!! When I started college in 2013, I tried eating healthier (more salads, nuts as snacks etc) and ended up being diagnosed with calcium oxalate stones last year! Now I have to follow a low salt, low oxalate diet and take some medications. It's so hard because just about everything has oxalate.

  14. AthleticBrain: Eating this foods are healthy indeed, but there is usually some other behavioral action we can do to counter the high amount of oxalates. 1. Drink enough water 2. Consume citric acid( e.g. raw lemon juice) mixed in water. 3. Raw apple cider vinegar. All these will counter the effects of high oxalate foods. :)

  17. Martin Murphy: this video is so wrong. As far as berries go, it's raspberries that are high, not the entire group. Oatmeal, by all counts and studies, is not high in oxalates, as well. This is not a reliable source. There are better educational sites that state the amount of oxalates from the University of Chicago and other health clinics who did the testing. Please don't follow this info. until you have read all of the information from reliable sources.
