The red algae form a special group and it is characterized by having eukaryotic cells without centrioles and flagella, chloroplasts that contain unstacked (stoma) thylakoids and completely lack external endoplasmic reticulum, and use phycobiliproteins as accessory pigments, that give them their distinct red color.
Some of them are also crucial in the formation of tropical reefs, an activity with which they have been involved for the millennia.
Red marine algae are natural dietary supplements that are considered more beneficial as compared to other supplementary vitamins and minerals.
According to some studies, they may also serve as a gateway to resist numerous types of fungal, bacterial, and viral pathogens. The antioxidants in this seaweed can also help it bulk up the hair, to make it seem like damage never happened.
